Sanjeev Tuli, promoter and owner of the Heritage Group started his career with the world-renowned Oberoi Group of Hotels. An alumnus of The Oberoi School of Hotel Management, Sanjeev has held high-level positions in the Group's Hotels in India, Nepal, Srilanka and Egypt. Noteworthy is the fact that all these hotels were listed as The Leading Hotels of the World.

Subsequently, Sanjeev moved to Germany where he established a chain of 'Jewel of India' restaurants in Frankfurt, Offenbach, Wiesbaden and went on to expand to the Czech Republic with a 'jewel' in the historic city of Prague.

With enough credentials in running fine dining restaurants in Europe, Sanjeev moved to USA to begin his Heritage India restaurants in Washington DC. One is located downtown in Dupont Circle while the other is in Glover Park, Georgetown DC.

The most remarkable qualities that Sanjeev brings to his establishments are his meticulous attention to detail and his penchant for exclusivity and the 'fine-dining' experience, which he provides for his varied clientele.

Complementing his expertise in the restaurant business is Sanjeev's wife Mitul, also from the Oberoi School and with a solid track record in general management and food and beverage operations. Together, they have established an enviable track record in the hospitality sector in foreign countries by a team of highly-qualified chefs and managers, Sanjeev has been able to carve out a niche for himself in this highly competitive arena.
